Tanuki again gets me boozed, brings the love, and cuddles up after. This week's liaison spans the spectrum - from tender lamb to cold soups and a pork belly limit experience that would make Foucault blush.
Pickled Veggies and Dried Anchovies - my crack habit temporarily sated thanks to those peppers
Hamachi Loin (towards the tail this time) - every time I go I'm convinced it's the best she's served, remarkably firm yet while heart breakingly tender
Cold Tofu Soup with Dungeness Crab, Cucumber, and Watermelon - with a nice dollop of fresh wasabi gracing the rim for self application, this was really refreshing considering the heat outside
Kimchi Fried Rice with Shrimp - this is always great, I heart kimchi and I'd buy her's by the jar if I could
Lamb with Cucumber Tomato Salsa - the lamb was the most tender I've had it and just out of control good with everything else on the plate
Young Daikon Pods - oh the glories of youth, these tasted somewhat akin to green beans and radishes
Chilled Sake Steamed Clams with Kimchi Shave Ice - yep, somebody dropped their kimchi snow cone on sake clams, and yes it was as good as you're imagining
Pork Belly - this was my dessert and it was easily the best pork belly I've had anywhere, something about how long it spent in it's own juices I'm told.
Hehe, loves me some Tanuki porn.

Goodist,
Thanks. Nothing makes me drool on my paws like the pictures you've captured. The succulent essence of each dish exudes from these photos.
You wrote that you "heart kimchi." Me too. Heart Kimchi is my favorite kind of Kimchi. The pleasure I enjoy when I pop little preserved fish hearts in to my mouth is unrivaled.
That'll teach those little bastards to blow bubbles at me.
Your Pal,
Smokin' Bunny
